Family Faith Formation
Begins Sun. Sept. 7 - Register TODAY!
Family Faith Formation is for all families with children birth - 12th grade, regardless of how their children are receiving their formal education. Public, parochial and home school families are all invited.
PARENTS
The purpose of this program is to build a strong community of parents who accompany one another as they become successful faith leaders for their families. We see what it is like out there. Our families need to be strong in their faith to endure the challenges put before them each day. Parents are a big part of this new program. In the parent classes, we hope to encourage, equip & engage parents so they can create strong, faith-filled families that can thrive in these challenging times.
FAMILIES
In addition, we want to involve the whole family in faith forming experiences at our parish and to connect our families with other generations in our parish community. Our parish is a safe place for our children to grow and learn both in their age-based classes and from other generations.
DETAILS
This program replaces the previous drop-off PSR program.
It is a family inclusive program, where the whole family attends formation classes
We meet on Sundays, between the Masses, and will have 3 different types of classes and locations (see schedule):
- Age-based at the FLC - On most Sundays, the whole family will meet at the FLC in 7 age-based classes:
- birth - pre-k, K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-8, High School, Parents
- Parent taught at HOME - On approximately one fourth of the Sundays, parents will teach their children at home.
- Intergenerational at the PARISH HALL - On several Sundays we will have an Intergenerational event in which the entire parish will come together for fun, faith and fellowship. We will learn together and connect with one another.
We hope your family will join our program.
Classes are on Sunday mornings @ 9:35 - 10:45 a.m. in the Family Life Center (FLC) from September to early May.
