Sacramental Information

sacramentsThe Sacred liturgy and celebration of the Sacraments are the most sacred and important actions entrusted to the Church, for it is here that the “work of our redemption is accomplished” (Sacrosanctum Concilium n2), where we encounter the mystery of Christ and the real nature of the Church. It is in and through the Holy Sacraments that we encounter Christ in a unique way. The Church asks that we prepare for the sacraments so that their celebration be fruitful, dignified and a true encounter with the Christ. At St. Cecilia's we have a variety of catechetical courses and programs for sacramental preparation. Below are some details of what is available. For further information please contact the Parish Office at 618-288-3200.
